In a World Focused on Things, We Focus First on People
Since our beginnings as a land-grant institution, K-State and the College of Human Ecology has dedicated itself to improving lives for individuals, families and communities. Through our centers, institutes and outreach programs, we work directly with clients and colleagues in ways that improve people's lives while enhancing learning and research. These facilities and programs provide faculty, staff and students with opportunities for practical application of classroom learning and venues for research. Programming through the Kansas State University Agricultural Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension Service, as well as programs developed through grant- and privately funded programs, allow us to disseminate information to those who need it most.
