Short Biography:
Marlene K. Glasscock is a Research Assistant Professor in the School of Family Studies and Human Services at Kansas State University. She is the Project Director for the 4-H/Army Youth Development Project, the 4-H/Air Force Partnership Project, and the CYFAR and Military Partnerships Project. She manages the project funding that supports the vision and mission of Army Child, Youth and School Services and Air Force Airman and Family Services. As a member of the design and training team for 4-H 101, she assisted in the development of the 4-H 101 handbook and has been a trainer for the 4-H 101 training conferences for Army, Air Force and Navy. She also manages forty-one Military 4-H Club Grants and fifty Operation: Military Kids Grants. Marlene has a B.S. in Home Economics Education and an M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Kansas State University and has taught courses in early childhood education and parent education.
