Short Biography:

Dr. Melody L. A. LeHew received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Textile and Clothing from The Ohio State University and her Ph.D. in Retail and Consumer Science from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Dr. LeHew’s scholarship program focuses on sustainable consumption; as well as the link between consumer behavior/preferences and retail strategy. Most recently, Dr LeHew received a USDA Challenge grant to develop educational materials that will enhance students’ understanding and practice of global citizenship as future leaders in the textile and apparel industry.
