Objective: Children LEARN through moving, thinking and feeling while they are active. Parents (and other care-givers) can promote learning by providing opportunities for children to be active and by participating in activities with their children.

Appropriate Occasion: WIC clinics, health fairs, parenting workshops, child care provider trainings, Head Start parent meetings.

Appropriate Audience: Parents with young children (focus on preschoolers). Care-givers for young children (i.e. child care providers, grandparents, foster parents, etc.)
