FNP is a collaborative effort of K-State Research and Extension and community agencies to provide nutrition education for people with limited resources. Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) of the USDA contracts with the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitative Services (KS SRS) which subcontracts with K-State Research and Extension to fund FNP in over 80 Kansas counties.
